Multi-Author Terms of Purchase

Please read these Terms of Purchase carefully before purchasing.

By completing your purchase, you agree to the following legally binding Terms.

Program Purchase

You (the "Author") are purchasing participation as a contributing author in a multi-author publication produced by Women Writing Intentionally Collective LLC (the "Publisher").

Participation includes submitting one chapter for inclusion in a collaborative book project and access to the publishing services associated with the program.

These services may include editing, proofreading, formatting, cover design, publishing, distribution, marketing support, and participation in a coordinated book launch.

Business Purchase

You acknowledge that this purchase is made in your business or professional capacity.

Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase unless a payment plan has been agreed upon.

If a payment plan is agreed upon, the Author is responsible for completing all scheduled payments.

Failure to complete payments may result in removal from the project. The Author remains responsible for any outstanding payments owed.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of publishing services and the preparation work required prior to publication, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued.

By completing your purchase, you agree not to initiate a chargeback without first contacting the Publisher to attempt resolution.

Unauthorized chargebacks may incur an administrative fee of $300 USD.

Author Responsibilities

Authors are responsible for providing their chapter manuscript and required author materials by the deadlines communicated by the Publisher.

Failure to submit materials by the required deadline may result in removal from the project without refund.

The Publisher reserves the right to remove or decline participation of an author who fails to meet submission deadlines or materially disrupts the collaborative process.

Grant of Rights

By participating in the program, the Author grants Women Writing Intentionally Collective LLC a non-exclusive worldwide license to publish, distribute, sell, and promote the Author's chapter as part of the collaborative book in all formats now known or developed in the future.

Copyright

The Publisher may register copyright for the book as a collective work.

The Author retains the right to reuse, republish, or distribute their individual chapter independently, provided it is not represented as the complete book.

Use of Name and Likeness

The Author grants the Publisher the right to use their name, biography, image, and excerpts from their chapter for the purpose of promoting and marketing the book.

Book Production and Distribution

The Publisher retains full control over editorial and production decisions including cover design, formatting, pricing, distribution platforms, publication timelines.

The Publisher reserves the right to adjust project timelines, publication schedules, or program structure when necessary to ensure successful publication.

Book Sales and Revenue

The Author understands that royalties from book sales will not be distributed to contributing authors.

Revenue generated from book sales may be reinvested by the Publisher into marketing, advertising, and promotional activities intended to increase the visibility and reach of the book and its authors.

Amazon Launch Strategy

The Publisher may coordinate a strategic launch including category selection, pricing strategy, and promotional coordination intended to support strong visibility and bestseller placement on Amazon.

While no publisher can legally guarantee rankings or sales performance, coordinated launch strategies are designed to maximize visibility and ranking potential.

Launch Participation

Authors agree to reasonably participate in the coordinated book launch and promotional activities communicated by the Publisher. These activities may include sharing promotional materials, notifying their audience, and supporting launch week initiatives.

The collaborative launch model is designed to amplify the reach of participating authors through shared visibility and coordinated promotion.

Successful collaborative launches rely on the collective promotional efforts of contributors.

The Publisher cannot guarantee results if authors do not actively participate in launch activities.

Original Work Warranty

The Author represents and warrants that the chapter submitted is their original work and does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.

The Author is responsible for ensuring that any third-party material included in their chapter has the appropriate permissions for publication.

Indemnification

The Author agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher, its owners, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, or legal expenses arising from the content of the Author's submitted chapter.

Limitation of Liability

The Publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from participation in the publication project or from the sale or distribution of the book.

Force Majeure

The Publisher shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failures, platform changes, natural disasters, labor disputes, or other unforeseen events.

No Earnings Guarantee

Participation in the book does not guarantee book sales, publicity, business growth, or financial return.
